06/30/2025: Dr. Kathryn Eads joins TAVS USA Advisory Board

With over two decades of national leadership in program development and support for military families, Dr. Kathryn Eads brings a unique blend of academic insight, operational excellence, and deep community impact to our mission.

As Program Manager for the Reserve Component Transition Assistance Advisor program and founder of Waterhorse LLC—a certified Woman- and Veteran-owned Business Enterprise—Dr. Eads has led initiatives spanning child and youth programs, transition assistance, and family services across all 50 states, 3 territories, and D.C. Her work has directly influenced Department of Defense policy through groundbreaking national research.

Dr. Eads holds a PhD in Educational Administration, an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, and multiple teaching and administration licenses. Beyond her academic and professional achievements, she co-founded Be the Church, a nonprofit that revitalizes downtown spaces to provide jobs, housing, and hope to under served communities.

Her lifetime commitment to service, education, and impact aligns perfectly with TAVS USA’s mission to empower veterans and first responders. We are thrilled to have Dr. Eads help guide the future of our program and the lives it will transform.
